The 2017 edition of the DAIS Science Fair was a tremendous success. The DAIS staff would like to congratulate all students from Pre-K to Grade 8 who participated in the event. The winning projects from the Middle School will now compete in the Virtual Round of the NESA Virtual Science Fair competition. We wish Atilla, Whit, Holly, Cassidy and Tanysha luck as their projects will now compete against the Virtual Qualifiers from other international schools around the globe. Of these, only 5 projects will be selected to compete in the Champions League. We wish them and their projects the best.
Congratulations to Holly Dempster, Tanysha Baure, and Cassidy Eaton for their 8th place finish in the NESA Virtual Science Fair Virtual Round competition. In addition, their project took top honors for the “Best Grade 7 Chemistry” project, 2nd place in “Best Chemistry Overall,” and 3rd place for “Best 7th Grade Project. When you see these girls about, please give them a shout.
