On behalf of the student council, Mrs. Truong and I would like to thank you for your attendance and support at the 2015 Fall Festival. There was a great showing of both students and parents at the event. The children all had a fantastic time and it was a great way to launch the evenings Halloween festivities.
We would also like to thank those of you who donated prizes, materials, snacks, time and energy to help make this event successful. We would like to especially recongize Srujana Kantamneni and Tracy Eaton for their coordination with ESS and decorations. Your involvement made the Fall Festival a tremendous success.
All ages are welcome! This is a fundraiser for various charities organized by the Student Council. There will be games, prizes, and a costume parade. Come to the Dostyk Gym on Saturday, October 31st, from 5pm-6pm. Entrance Fee: 1000 KZT per person.
The DAIS Student Council would like to thank everyone for their help, support, participation and encouragement – all of which were necessary to make the Fall Festival a success.
The Student Council would particularly like to thank the MS room mothers, Diana Ivanov and Pam Sterling for taking the lead, and to Tracy Eaton and Jo Rava for providing the historical memory of past festivals. Also, a big thank you to all the parents and community members who came out to help decorate and clean up the gym after the fun!
The MS students worked hard on preparing their games this year and really wanted to have some new games for the little kids. From what I saw and heard everybody had fun.
The end result was that the Student Council raised 107400 Tenge for the charities that they have decided to sponsor this year, specifically Operation Smile and the World Wildlife Fund.
