It’s February again!  That means it’s Healthy Heart Month and it’s time to get moving.  Dostyk American International School in Kazakhstan is challenging you to join our 28 Miles in 28 Days Run / Walk Challenge. This is the seventh year of our challenge and as with subsequent years we would like to increase the number of participants and of course surpass our total miles. In 2016 we were able to edge past our 2015 total of 8544 by 44 miles.

In support of Healthy Heart Month, Student Council will be holding the annual DAIS Lap-a-thon on Saturday, February 11, 2017.   The theme of this year’s Lap-a-thon is an International Run. Please dress your child in country colors or add a flag to their clothing. The fundraiser will be held in the tennis court from 9:00-11:00am. This year the Student Council is asking for only flat rate pledges. Please see the following schedule for the running times and grade groups.
